2nd ESO GO TREKKING....

ALL THE STUDENTS OF 2ND ESO WENT YESTERDAY TREKKING ALONG THE RIVER EBRO.  WE WERE ACCOMPANIED BY THE P.E. TEACHERS: LUISA AND INMA.

IT WAS FUN BUT THERE WERE A LOT OF MOSQUITOS AND IT WAS TOO HOT.

WE WENT TO ALJAFERIA AND PARLIAMENT WITH THE DUTCH....

THEY ARE HAVING A WONDERFUL TIEM .... since they arrived last Wednesday, when they did the sightseeing tour to get to know the city.

So, on Thursday, we went to visit the Aljaferia Palace and the Parliament in live session
.

They are the Dutch teachers, Elizabeth and Rachel from Gulpen.

MYTHS EXHIBITION

The students of Ancient Culture have prepared different myths this week and an exhibition of them on the walls...

ome of them are very popular but some others were unknown for me ... like the one talking about Pigmalion

BOOK'S WEEK...

This week, we are celebrating 400 years since the death of Cervantes and Shakespeare. ,....

 so during the RECREARTE session, students and teachers were reading lovely poems yesterday in this occassion, by Aragonese Writers.

TABLE TENNIS COMPETITION AT SCHOOL

As every year, the P.E. department organised a competition among the students so that the ones from 1st ESO compete with the ones in 2nd ESO . And the ones from 3rd against the ones from 4th.

The finals were just before Christmas.

The winners in the second cycle were:
ISAIAS SEMEDO - 3RD D
LAURA CREMALLET - 4TH B

We enjoyed a lot.  ( by Teo - 3rd A)

TRIP TO LONDON NEXT WEEK..... great !!!!

I am travelling to London next week with Teresa Gonzalez, the new English teacher and 13 Administration and Electronics students.

We will travel cheaply with Ryanair and we will be staying at a youth hostel for 3 nights.

We will visit the most important sights, the British Museum, the Bank of England, the castle and the Tower bridge, the Globe Shakespeare theatre, the Dungeons ( a Little bit of horror adventures is always welcome by the students), the Emirates stadium....etc.

We will show some photos after the trip.

I have been travelling to London every year since I was 15 years old... I love London. (Marga)

MODERNISM IN TERUEL NEXT WEEKEND

We celebrate the modernist times in Teruel when Monguió ( apupil of Gaudí) built a very beautiful building in Plaza El Torico.

Many people get costumes to show the society of those times.

Today, we will be able to watch an eclypse of the Sun at about 9:00 am

About 80% of the sun will be eclypsed by the moon if you are in Galicia... maybe 60% in Aragon .
