UNEMPLOYMENT

UNEMPLOYMENT ( BY DANIELA FROM ADM3)

A social problem that worries me and also affects me is unemployment among young people.

In recent years, the situation in Spain has changed with companies and their hiring processes, since they are no longer looking for young people, but for people with a lot of work experience and good studies.

This has affected those under 30 years of age especially, since at that age many people have recently finished their studies and still have no experience, therefore companies prefer to leave us out of their employment lists.

I hope that in the future this can be solved since there is currently almost 50% unemployment in those under 35 years of age, which also affects older people by extending their retirements.

In short, we need a change.

THE BEST INVENTION EVER (BY M. SANZ. 2BTO)

 THE BEST INVENTION EVER

THROUGHOUTut history, man has made thousands of inventions such as writing, the smartphone, or the light bulb, although for me, without a doubt, man's best invention has been the wheel.

The wheel is man's best invention, because thanks to that invention, today we have cars, trains, buses... that take us anywhere in a matter of minutes and save us from walking. It is also the best invention because if it had not been invented, we probably could hardly have traded centuries ago, since merchandise was transported in carriages and it was much more comfortable to carry it in a wheeled carriage than to have to carry it on the shoulders, In addition, taking a carriage allowed to carry much more merchandise.

Just as I have said it as an advantage, I am going to say it as a disadvantage, since the fact that cars have been developed thanks to wheels is a bad thing, since apart from the fact that we have become almost completely dependent on the vehicle, Whether it's a motorcycle, a car or a bus... many accidents happen and many people die each year, whether it's train, car, or motorcycle accidents... and it's something really bad.

To summarize, the wheel is the best invention that man has been able to make in history, but like everything in this world, it has its advantages and its disadvantages

SPAIN GETS A BRONZE MEDAL

Spain takes a bronze in the handball world cup. ( BY LUIS - ADM3)

I have chosen a piece of paper related to the victory of the Spanish

National team of Handball.

Sweden vs Spain 36:39

New success of the Spanish handball team. One of the most successful

teams has given the Spanish sport continues without missing its

appointment with the medals. This Sunday has won in Sweden, and before

the host, the bronze medal in the World Cup, a great success that again

highlights the great state of the Spanish handball.

In Stockholm, with a field almost 100% with the rival in this final of

consolation, Spain has won the host Sweden (36-39) and has hung the

third bronze of our history. It is also the fifth medal in a World Cup, which

has been won twice (2005 and 2013) and in which it has remained in third

place three times (2011, 2021 and 2023).

50 MILLION TONS WASTE EVERY YEAR

50 MILLION TONS OF ELECTRONICAL WASTE EVERY YEAR

( BY CAMELIA - ADM 3)

Companies are using precious metals and other minerals from electronic waste to create necklaces, rings and bracelets.

Around 50 million tons of electronic waste are discarded every year.

Recycling these devices could also help reduce mining activity, Extracting just 10 grams of gold displaces nearly five tons of earth.

FLOODING IN NEW ZEALAND

Auckland under water: New Zealand's main city faces its worst flooding ever

( BY NEREA GONZALO- ADM3 )

At least three dead and one missing from heavy rains and flooding in New Zealand. The city of Auckland, the largest in the country, is in a state of emergency. The airport is closed and the road network "seriously affected".

The Government has announced that it will allocate the equivalent of some US$65,000 in aid to communities. The priority now is to rescue people in danger and provide shelter for the victims.

Bad weather will continue for the next few days, so citizens are urged to follow the instructions of the emergency services.

IT IS A PITY WHEN WE FIND TRAGEDIES LIKE THIS ONE, MAYBE ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF CLIMATE CHANGE.

KING CHARLES III

 KING CHARLES III'S CORONATION FLOWERS:

WHAT BLOOMS TO EXPECT AT THE CEREMONY

Plans for King Charles III's Coronation on Saturday 6th May 2023 are well underway, but what flowers are likely to feature in the ceremony? Keep reading for everything you need to know about King Charles' favourite flowers, Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation flowers, and what beautiful blooms we think might appear.

It's possible that common wildflowers could make an appearance. At Highgrove House, he included Meadow Gatefold, a wildflower meadow, in the grounds, as well as many rare wildflower species. Bluebells will also be in season at the time of the Coronation, so they could be considered for floral arrangements. It's no surprise that our new monarch loves to garden, so we imagine he may include some blooms from his own outdoor space.

Many royal experts predict that Lily-of-the-valley will feature at the King's Coronation. A symbol of purity, joy, love and sincerity, these pretty flowers were a favourite of Queen Elizabeth II and featured in her Coronation bouquet in 1953.

To mark the special occasion, we may also see the symbolic blooms of Britain. Many countries around the world have adopted a flower as part of their national emblem, and King Charles could include these at his Coronation.

INTERESTING FINDING

 Life without the Y chromosome

In most of today's mammals, what determines whether an individual will be male or female is the presence or absence of the Y chromosome. However, the latter is in the process of degeneration in the human genome, and could disappear in a few millions of years.

This degeneration is due to the fact that, unlike what happens with the rest of the chromosomes, the Y presents a single copy in the individuals that carry it. Thus, this chromosome does not undergo genetic recombination, thus, this chromosome does not undergo genetic recombination.

A team of biologists headed by Asato Kuroiwa, from the University of Hokkaido, has just revealed this by revealing how two species of rodents that had lost the Y chromosome survived this circumstance while maintaining sexual differentiation. Most of the genes on the Y chromosome would have been relocated to other chromosomes, with the exception of SRY, whose trace could not be found.
