MONUMENTS, YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW.

ONE OF OUR 2 ERASMUS+ PROJECTS IS RELATED TO HISTORY. THE LEADER IS GERMANY.

THE MEANING OF OUR MONUMENTS IS SHIFTING.

COLOMBUS MAYBE IS NOT CONSIDERED A HERO FROM OUR PRESENT POINT OF VIEW.

ALL THE MONUMENTS RELATED TO SLAVERY IN USA ARE BEING TOPPLED.

SOME OF THE THINGS BUILT BY THE DICTATOR AFTER THE CIVIL WAR MIGHT NOT BE WORTH KEEPING.

THEREFORE, THINGS CHANGE FROM ONE AGE TO THW OTHER AND WE HAVE TO KEEP IN MIND THEIR MEANING IN CONTEXT.

I LOVE MY CITY !!!

I LOVE MY CITY

I think i must talk about my city, Zaragoza as Its the best city for me because its the fifth longest city in Spain.

In Zaragoza you can go sightseeing around the city. Firstly, you must visit “El Pilar” which is in the centre. Near “El Pilar” you can visit a beautiful cathedral, “Seo”. Moreover, we have a big park called “Jose Antonio Labordeta” wHich has nice views at night if you look from above. I think it's really beautiful, but this isn’t all because if you like to eat you have to go to “El tubo”. El tubo has many bars where you can taste a great variety of food such as tapes, crumbs, meat or fish and you can also eat with a good wine or beer, whatever you like the most.

Front my pont of view, it's a very good place to go on holiday because you can do sightseeing, taste traditional food or go to party but the main advantage is that everything is in the city centre so you needn’t walk too much to enjoy the city.

NO HUGS... NO KISSES !!

                                           COVID SITUATION

Firstly, I think COVID has brought  a big global problem for humanity.

Countries have to choose between economy and health, because it is very difficult

to find a balance between them.

On the one hand, hospitals are collapsed by COVID patients and people with

other diseases must wait to be operated on. Health personnel feel tired and

distressed because the work is very hard everyday. On the other hand, many people

can’t work due to restrictions and they see their savings reduce fastly. In my opinion,

it is very sad that old people feel alone, because their loved beings can’t visit them

for fear of infecting them. Also, Christmas is going to be very hard, because we will

NOT BE ABLE TO can’t celebrate this with all our family.

In conclusion, I hope that in the near future, COVID has gone and all the people

can recover their lives and that we can kiss and hug our family soon. (L.ADAN)

HAVE YOU BEEN TO THAILAND ?? YOU HAVE TO GO !!

MY BEST TRIP

My best trip was in the summer of 2018 when I traveled to the Asian continent for the first time. I went with my boyfriend to Thailand. We chose this destination because we were interested in its culture, traditions, people and foods.

Firstly, we visited Bangkok for 3 days. This great and chaotic city impacted us because you have a lot of contrast. For example,  you can visit a beautiful historical monument in a very poOr area. Secondly, we visited Chiang Mai which is the north of Thailand. The best memory I have is that we spent a journey with the elephants, taking care of them. Although I´m afraid of animals, I enjoyed them and it was a great experience. And finally, we went to the island called Koh Samui. We were staying in a resort hotel and we took the opportunity to disconnect and relax.

In conclusion, Thailand holds a special place in my heart. People are so generous and helpful that you are at peace with yourself. (SARA S.)

THE BEST PLACE TO GO ........

ALTHOUGH, NOW WE CAN'T TRAVEL BECAUSE OF COVID 19, I HOPE WE CAN GET OVER THIS CRISIS  SOON.

THE BEST CITY IN SPAIN

Córdoba is one of the best places to visit in Andalucía. If you WANT  to enjoy a wonderful trip, go ahead!!

Córdoba belongED to the arabic kingdom many years ago, so that explains that it's enriched with amazing culture. I´m sure his history brings up your attention while seeing for example the mosque of Córdoba, the palace of Viana, or the Alcazar of the Cristian kings among   others. Besides, the happiness, the sympathy and the way of being of the south people is another thing that I liked when I visited the place, in addition to his fair and his flemish. Moreover, Córdoba has a special meaning to me because one of my best friends that I met during the university lives there, so when I have free time I try to visit her.

Summing up, from my point of view, YOU SHOULD GO AND VISIT, WHENEVER YOU CAN.  It´s a town that you won't forget!!

LIVING WITH ...... COVID !!!

 LIVING WITH COVID

I WAS LYING IN BED WHEN SOMEONE PHONED HOME THIS MORNING ASKING FOR MY MOTHER, WHO WAS AT WORK DUE TO SOME PROBLEMS WITH THE NEW RULES CREATED BECAUSE OF THE COVID-19.

WE ALL KNOW IT IS A SERIOUS PANDEMICAFFECTING PEOPLE ALL AROUND THE WORLD NOT NOT LETTHING THEM LIVE THEIR OWN LIVES AS THEY SHOULD, AS THEY LIMITED WHAT PEOPLE CAN DO OR CAN'T DO, ADDING NEW RULES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE AND SOUND, EVEN THOUGH, NOT ALL OF THEM ARE DOING AS EXPECTED, LEADING THE GOVERNMENT TO IMPLEMENT EVEN MORE MEASURES AND LAWS WHICH HAVE TO BE CHECKED BY MY MOTHER AND HER COWORKERS, BEING THAT, THE REASON WHY SHE COULDN'T ANSWER THE PHONE THIS MORNING WHEN THE PHONE RANG.

IN CONCLUSION, WE LOOK FORWARD TO THE MOMENT WHEN EVERYTHING IS OVER. THEN, WE WILL THINK IT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE !!!!
