IS YOUR CITY A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE ??
(BY ISABEL G.)
Is your city a safe place to live?
From my point of view, Zaragoza is a safe enough city to live in compared to other big cities such Madrid or Barcelona. However, there are some dangerous areas. If you are walking around the city after 8:00 p.m, you should avoid passing by Avenue Conde Aranda, The Gancho and Magdalena area, because these areas are SOME of the most conflictive of the city and with more robberies. Personally I try not to go through these areas at night.
Recently it has BEEN heard in the news a lot of robberies in these areas to elderly people and young peoplen, even rapes and fights of latin gangs of teenagers. If you walk by your mobile phone even during the day, you run the risk of being robbed.
Furthermore, in my case, I had a negative experience when I was a teenager regarding this. On Saturday night when I came back from going out for drinks with my friends, the power went out in the street next to my house. On the other side of the street a young man was talking along the street, suddenly I noticed that someone was grabbing me by the neck. He threw me to the ground, and after I resisted, he pulled my bag and took it away. I screamed but no one helped me. It was a horrible experience. I was almost a year old with a lot of fear when I was coming home at night and I always tried to take a taxi.
If I were you, I would recommend that you avoid going alone late at night walking around the city. It's better to be safe than cure.
LIVING IN A CITY OR NOT !!!
ADVANTAGES OF LIVING IN THE CITY ( FROM 2 CIE)
When you decide to move you should take into consideration different factors. Firstly, the budget you can afford to spend. Secondly, what are your priorities, if you want to be at the city center or you prefer to be away from people. Another important fact is the type of energy that consumes the house, if it is renewable or not renewable.
From my point of view, living in the city is the best option due to as a general rule, the majority of cities in Spain have a good transport system. You can go to your work by public transport helping the environment. Nevertheless, if you don’t like concentrations of people this option isn’t the best for you. If you prefer tranquility you should buy a house in the outskirts of the city. Some towns have good transport networks with the main city, nonetheless it may happen that they don't have them. If you are undecided, you have the option to try both places, and get your own advantages and disadvantages from them.
In conclusion, for my needs, the one that best suits me is living in the city. If as a child I had been able to choose where to live, it would have been on Calle Alfonso. Remember, if you're happy, there it’s.

SEARHING FOR EMPLOYMENT
DIFFICULTIES IN SEARCHING FOR EMPLOYMENT ( BY CLARA BENITO CIE)
Spain is a developing country where finding employment isn’t difficult, nonetheless, finding job opportunities as a young person costs more than experienced people.
On the one hand, from my point of view, nowadays young people don't feel like working and it's the main reason by which the business requires some characteristics to form part of it. On the other hand, many businesses pretend that people under 18 years old haven’t too much experience and if you are a young person it is difficult to have it. Moreover, in Spain the crisis of 2008 affected the economy, due to this, the employment decreased.
Therefore, I think that the main causes of finding a job in my country are the lack of experience and the little desire to work.
