WE HAVE CARRIED OUT A VERY INTERESTING WORKSHOP RELATED TO TRANSLATION, LED BY MARTA IGUACEL FROM USJ.
THE STUDENTS COULD DO IT FROM ENGLISH OR FRENCH INTO SPANISH AS PART OF THE CURRICULUM IN DURING THEIR ESSONS IN THEIR CLASSROOMS WITH MASKS AND OPEN WINDOWS.
THEY FOUND OUT THAT IT IS NOT AS EASY AS IT MAY SEEM BECAUSE SOMETIMES, THE SOUNDS ARE NOT THE SAME, THE IDIOMS OR THE COLOQUIAL EXPRESSIONS:
-- WE SAY TOC TOC ( CLOMP, CLOMP IN ENGLISH)
-- A CAT HAS GOT SEVEN LIVES AND NOT 9 ( IN ENGLISH)
-- I WOULDN'T SAY YOU ARE FAT !! ESTAS MAS GORDO QUE EL MUÑECO DE MICHELIN !!
WE REALLY ENJOYED!! THANKS A LOT MARTA FOR YOUR INTEREST AND YOUR JOY !!
