DAY " E " IS NEAR

YES, DAY " E " FOR ERASMUS+ 'GREEN JOBS'

AS YOU ALL KNOW, 28 STUDENTS AND 13 TEACHERS ARE VISITING THE IES PEDRO CERRADA SCHOOL FROM THE 18TH TO THE 25TH OF MARCH.

WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS GREAT EVENT, NEVER EVER CARRIED OUT IN UTEBO BEFORE,

WE WILL GET ON INFORMING YOU ...... AND YOU WILL SEE THEM AROUND EVERY DAY......

UTEBO STUDENTS VISIT MONTPELLIER....

We are a very cosmopolitan school, so not only our students go to Holland or London or Italy... but they also visit every year a school in France.


This year, Ines and Mercedes took them to Montpellier. We hope they send us some photos for our weekly magazine.

FAREWELL TO JOSE MIGUEL MARTI....

YES... EL ABUELO GETS RETIRED AND WE SAID 'GOODBYE' TO HIM WITH SOME PRESENTS TODAY IN A SPECIAL TEACHER'S MEETING AT 2.30PM.

HE GOT A LOVELY WATCH AND A 'MOBILE', THE FIRST MOBILE IN HIS LIFE... SO THAT WE KEEP IN TOUCH WITH HIM FROM NOW ONWARDS .

TOMORROW, WE WILL GO TO HAVE LUNCH ALL TOGETHER...

OUR ORCHARD AT IES PEDRO CERRADA....

Thanks to some of our students in 2nd ESO and the teachers Yolanda and Jose Luis... this is the result of the efforts in taking care of the orchard at the back of the schoool....

TRIP TO MADRID

The students of Bachillerato went to Madrid on the 27,28 and 29 of November with their language teachers in order to visit several Museums and the place where all our most important writers live in the 20th century when they met.

They learnt a lot and had a wonderful time.

"EVERYBODY IS WITH PARIS" - NO TO WAR

"EVERYBODY IS WITH PARIS"

THAT WAS THE LEMA IN EVERY CLASSROOM AND IN EVERY PART OF OUR DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY.

AFTER THE TERRORIST ATTEMPT LAST NOVEMBER IN PARIS, ALL THE PUPILS WERE CONCERNED, SO THEY WERE DRAWING IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE VICTIMS. THIS IS THE WALL IN 2ND D:

 

AND ALSO AT THE LIBRARY, WE WERE SINGING SONGS DEDICATED TO PEACE, LIKE 'IMAGINE' BY JOHN LENNON. 

COSMIN IS NOT HERE FOR THE FESTIVAL.......

Cosmin  Gabor, a pupil from 2nd D is not here now, because he has gone to Romania to visit his family and to enjoy his holidays.

What a pity.... !!! He is going to miss the Traditional festival in Utebo which is celebrated for Saint Lambert, ( 17th-21st June ). There will be concerts, bulls, meetings, and a lot of peole dancing and enjoying in the streets.... 

We will have a long weekend with a Friday off.

So, Cosmin, all the class sends regards to you from the school.

CULTURAL VISIT TO DUBLIN

A GROUP OF TEACHERS HAVE BEEN TO DUBLIN - IRELAND FROM 10TH TO 13TH.

WE HAD A LOVELY WEATHER AND WE ENJOYED A LOT. WE VISITED A LOT OF THINGS SUCH US THE CEMETERY WHERE THE EXECUTED PEOPLE FROM THE INDEPENDENCE WAR WERE BURIED, THE TRINITY COLLEGE, ST PATRICK'S CATHEDRAL, THE BOTANIC GARDENS, OSCAR WILD STATUE, TEMPLE BAR STREET, ETC....
