BRITISH COUNCIL EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM AT PEDRO CERRADA NEXT YEAR !!!
BILINGUAL SYSTEM ( BY R.J.D. )
First of all, I believe that the bilingual system in Spain is a controversial issue, due to the fact that there are many different opinions for and against it.
Nowadays, Spain suffers still an economic recession, so the government doesn’t provide families with enough grants or to schools with enough money for education. For this reason, the bilingual system is so complicated to be implemented in all schools. A lot of parents are interested in this system because there will be more opportunities in their children’s life. That’s to say, in the future, in children know how to speak different languages, they will probably have more opportunities to find a good job. When I was a child, I would have liked to study different languages, but at that moment, these systems were for rich people, so it was impossible for me to get to these type of schools.
In my opinion, I believe learning languages is so relevant for all students because if you know how to speak other languages, you can communicate with others and it can also make us more sociable when we travel abroad or when we meet foreign people.
*** But today, we are very happy because now, it is official. Our school is going to have the bilingual system carried out by the British Council. We have a skilled teacher for Music, for Arts, for Science and for Maths. So ... we can start perfectly.
GREAT NEWS !!!
