SPORTWOMEN !!

HELLO, MY NAME IS IZARBE GARCÍA (ADM 1)  AND TODAY.....

I want to encourage all girls to practise all sports, any kind of sport, the one you like. You all know that we have the right to do the same as boys do and we can do it.

In my case, I practise female football but there are very importan sport women all over the world. Some examples wouild be :

ANA CARRASCO, in motorcycling
SANDRA SANCHEZ in karate
MARTA XARGAY  in basketball
SARA HURTADO in ice-skating
VERONICA BOQUETE in football

..................... among lots of others. So, come on, register and take up a sport. You will have fun!!

FABULOUS TRIP TO VISIT SIEMENS IN NUREMBERG!!

Hello, my name is Daniel Rubio. I am studying third year of Administration training and I want to explain our trip with our English teacher Marga andthe Electronics teacher  Fidel, last week.

We left Madrid on the 21st of January to fly to Nuremberg although the FOSBOS School was in Erlangen and our hotel too.

For me, it has a been a fantastic experience. it has been incredible. We visited the city of Nuremberg with 400,000 inhabitants, a castle, churches,the palace,  the river, etc.... Also Erlangen. which is smaller with a big shoppoing center, BAmberg, which is a medieval town with lovely historical areas, like the house of the man who tried to kill Hitler, and also where we tried the bacon beer (beer with the flavour of bacon).

Then,  we went to the Training center of SIEMENS, which is free for all students as long as they can speak German. We could do it too, if we knew how to speak German. it was a building among other 15 in the same campus. Siemens is dedicated to many fields ... not only washing machines and fridges. It was a very interesting visit and they invited all of us for lunch.

Finally, we were shown Adidas outlet, which was really cheap and Puma outlet. They belong to 2 brothers but they don't get on well. They don't talk to each other.

I can also say that I ate delicious things like German sausages or Bretzel bread, whih you can have, plain, with salt, with cheese or with other things. LOvely!!!

I could conclude that, if you are studying ADm or Electronics, don't hesitate, next year, Go !! I highly recommend it to everyone. You will enjoy.

SCHOOL SUBJECT OR MANNERS???

    School subjects or manners?     by Laura Rodriguez  2nd CIT

I'm going to write about education and discipline, specifically about how important it is to teach manners to young kids and how much it will affect in their future lives.

Firstly, I think that the education system that we have nowadays, specially in primary school, is too stressful, they have a lot of homework and exams and they are not even twelve years old, they are in the best years of their childhood to enjoy, play with their friends and do all those things that little kids are wishing to do, for that reason, I think that school hours in primary should be reduced. In addition, they are in the appropiate age to learn manners, avoid being selfish or impolite so I think it's more important that they learn those values at home before they go to school to learn science, maths or any other subject which has far less importance than being taught how to be a polite person. 

In conclusion, I think that parents should decide how they want to educate their children, also I think that in primary school kids shouldn't be so busy doing homework so that they can have more time for themselves.

MY FEELINGS ABOUT LONDON BY SERGIO PASAMON

TRIP TO LONDON

I love travelLing and, due to it, I went to London with the high school last 9th January, which was organized by our English teacher marga Herrero.

Firstly, we caught the plane in Zaragoza airport and we had a calmed flight of two hours. After-that, we arrived at the hotel and we got surprised because It was so huge! The following day we visited some museums and the city center, probably one of the best cities I´ve ever visited due to the fact that there were so many people from different cultures and It seemed to me that It´s a really free city.

Moreover, the funniest experience of the trip was when I got lost in the tube with five mates of eleventh grade. Some of them were really huffy because no one was looking for us, but It was amazing because I was talking with a lot of English people and learning the language.

Finally, I recommend to visit London, It´s so big and a cosmopolitan city… And, If I returned to London again I would visit the Big Ben because it was in restoration.

THE LOVERS OF TERUEL

My name is Nayla Aguilar from 2nd A, and I am  preparing a power point presentation about the 'Lovers of Teruel' as part of the History subject.

If you want to find out more information about this beautiful love story, you will have to travel to Teruel for the conmemoration of their death, on the 17th of February.

VISIT TO SIEMENS NEXT WEEK¡¡

We are into a relationship with the german Gymnasium of Erlangen since we were working in an Erasmus with them for 2 years, so we have been invited to visit the school, Erlangen town, Nuremberg and the Electronics Company of SIEMENS, whose headquarter is in Nuremberg.

Therefore, a group of 14 students from Administration and Electronics will travel to Germany next week acompanyed by the teachers Marga Herrero and Fidel Vicioso.

WORKSHOPS IN U.S.J.

THE UNIVERSITY OF SAN JORGE ORGANIZES EVERY YEAR SOME GUIDANCE WORKSHOPS FOR 2ND BACHILLERATO STUDENTS SO THAT THEY CAN BE SURE OF WHAT REALLY INTERESTS THEM FOR THE NEAR FUTURE.

So, the tutors, Jose Luis and Jose Manuel will go with the students next Friday 18th from 10 to 2pm. 

Some of the workshops are really innovative like 'Biopharmacy', which is based in computer based laboratory annalysis. 

BACK FROM LONDON CITY !!

 YES, WE HAVE BEEN SIGHTSEEING IN LONDON FROM THE 9TH TO THE 13TH OF JANUARY. IT IS OUR FIRST TIME IN THIS PERIOD OF THE YEAR BUT IT WAS WORTH, NOT SO MANY PEOPLE IN THE CITY.

The students have really enjoyed especially in the Museums, shopping in Camden town, visiting the football stadiums and the main monuments in London.

Here are some lovely memories.

LAST 8TH OF JANUARY, Administration students from 3rd year had an interesting workshop from IAF. They were shown how to make a presentation so attractive that the viewers get captured and convinced.

There were good clues in order to do it that they will be able to use for their projects and their own business in the future.

MY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS

After Christmas, it is a must to write about our impressions and feelings. Here is the first one that I have corrected from students in Bto. 

MY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS ( Blanca –torres)

These Christmas have been wonderful and I wish that all others are as good as these ONES or even better.

My family and I went to my house in Miralbueno because it is bigger than the house of Monzalbarba. On the 24th all my family and I dined together and it was the funniest night of all the holidays. My cousin came from Italy and told us what it is like to live and study there. The next day in the morning, we opened the gifts, the best thing of that moment was to see the happy face of my little brother. The rest of the days I stayed all of them with my friends and many nights we went to have dinner to Saragossa, they were nights of laughter and gossip. Finally, in New Year's Eve, we returned to dinner all the family together and we took the lucky grapes together, that moment, I always pass it with tension because my father always make us laugh and I am afraid to choke. In New Year, I went out to party with my friends and, of course, that is the best way to start a new year, the biggest drawback was the cold weather. If it had been warmer we could have spent longer partying.

To sum up, the best way to spend a fantastic vacation is to be surrounded by your family and friends!
