CONCERT ON LINE

PATRICIA ALFAYE FROM 2ND BTO - 

 If there is one thing in the whole world I absolutely love, it’s music. So that's the reason why I love the musical TV show Operacion Triunfo, also known as OT. 

Last 2020 edition, one of my favourite singers was Javy Ramírez. I have liked him since the first time I listened to his song Qué sabrá Neruda. He was thrown out at the beginning of the program. However, it didn't make me stop supporting him and his music. Therefore, when he launched his first album last 19 march and he announced he was going to give a concert in Cádiz, which could be also watched virtually, I didn't hesitate and I bought a streaming ticket. So yesterday 17 April it took place. There were a few problems, but his whole team worked hard to figure them out. 

Even though the internet connection failed and we missed a part of the concert, they gave us a solution and then we had a meet and greet with Javy, where we could ask him a few things. In fact, next week we'll receive a poster signed by him and we'll have a Zoom meeting to talk with him. To sum it up, it was an unusual but amazing and exciting experience and I’d repeat it. Nevertheless, I hope the next time I see him on stage it’d be a live concert.

THEY ARE STUDYING 2 CIT AND THEY ARE VERY FOND OF TECHNICAL DRAWING BECAUSE MANY OF THEM WANT TO DO ARCHITECTURE AT UNIVERSITY NEXT YEAR AND BECAUSE THEIR TEACHERT MARCOS MARTINEZ ENCOURAGES THEM TO DO IT !!!

STUDYING ABROAD

 WHAT ABOUT STUDYING ABROAD? (by Ana Colomo - 2 CIT)

They say when you are young you should make as many memories as possible. They say “go partying, travel with friends, create experiences you will never forget” but how is that even possible if we spend most of our lives controlled by our parents? As I see it, the answer is simple: studying abroad.

Even though living away from our families is hard, you will feel the freedom you were dreaming about all those last years. Moreover, if you had the opportunity to start again in a place no one knows you, wouldn’t you take it? I would. Those kinds of experiences that studying abroad brings to the table are scarce. Other experiences such as traveling around Europe by train or working abroad are meant for older people.

To sum up, studying abroad is the closest experience a teenager can have of being independent. Nevertheless, it is not cheap therefore you will need to save up some money from now on if you are planning to do it soon.

HINTS ABOUT FOOD

SOME HINTS ABOUT FOOD ( by ABH)

 "The food you eat can be either the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison” by Ann Wigmore. I have been trying to bear in mind this quotation for A long time and it has paid me off. 

On the one hand,  if it comes to health, you have to pay attention not only to the sort of food you eat, but also to the amount of food you eat.   So first of all, you must get rid of all industrial and processed food that you used to intake. 

Moreover, adding vegetables, fruit as well as good quality meat and fish will provide you with better health. 

On the second hand,  we should take into account where the food comes from. For instance, whether you buy vegetables in the small market or big chains of supermarkets you must take a look AT the label of the foods. It should contain the word “organic”. It means NO additive, chemical and artificial product has been added in order to speed up their growing or give glossy semblance. As a result, you don`t let these products BE introduced INto your body. Eventually, this practice reduces the oddS OF  developING an illness related to heart issueS or cancer. 

Finally, despite eating healthy food-- It does not mean you can`t increase your fat due to an increase of calories. It goes without saying, it is more difficult to raise your weight eating vegetables and fruits than junk and industrial food, but not impossible. So if you notice you are getting fat, decrease the amount of food you eat and  focus on the exercise you do. 

To sum up, I couldn't agree more with Ann Wigmore, so that I encourage people to enhance the quality of the food they ate. THE MORE YOU CARE, THE MORE YOU WILL BE REWARDED.

CELEBRITIES IN ARAGON

 WE ARE VERY HAPPY TO HAVE A LOT OF CELEBRITIES IN ARAGON, I MEAN PEOPLE WHO WERE A TURINING POINT FOR SOCIETY. HERE IS AN EXAMPLE:

Santiago Ramón y Cajal (By Monica Arnal)

Santiago Ramón y Cajal was a recognised doctor at the end of the 19th century
and beginning of the 20th century.

He was born in Petilla de Aragón, a small village in Navarra, however surrounded
by villages in Aragon. Due to his father’s job, a doctor too, Santiago lived in

different places:Luna, Valpalmas and Ayerbe. Thanks to his father's profession,

Santiago visited the local cemetery to recover corpses and from there, his first focus

in medicine. Despite this interest, since he was a child, he was excellent in arts.

Finally, he decided to study A Degree in Medicine in Zaragoza.

When he finished his studies, he went to Cuba as a doctor during the Ten years War.

Upon return, he started a PhD and his scientific vocation . Unfortunately, in these years,

Santiago contracted tuberculosis. Shortly afterwards, he

got married with Silveria, his partner for more than fifty years.

Moreover, in the research field , his work has led to the discoveries related

to neuroscience. Thus, he was awarded the Nobel Prize.

Summing up, Santiago Ramón y Cajal is one of the most important Spanish

scientists and,currently, his legacy is relevant to medicine.

UndoubtedlY, AT Christmas it is when more dogs are abandoned;

since children want a dog as a gift from Santa and then, they get tired

of the dog and abandone it. If you are left alone on a date

you will have a bad time, if you leave your dog alone, he will have a bad time.

So if you are not going to take care of your pet, do not have it, despite

  the fact that you feel alone.

TOMORROWLAND

Hi! I’m Javier  Pulido and I’m going to write about  a place which I have dreamt to travel TO since I was a little kid. This place is Tomorrowland, the most important and recognized  electronic music festival in the World.

First of all, Tomorrowland is located in Boom, a small town in Belgium. It takes place in July and August, and there you can meet people from all over the world. As I write, Tomorrowland is the biggest electronic music festival that exists. Nevertheless, Tomorrowlans is much more than just a music festival due to there you can enjoy  all kinds of EVENTS; dances, makeup short courses, costume parties, etc. Besides, there are a lot of stages where you can listen to different electronic music genres. However, the best things about the festival are that you can sleep at the festival enclosure and you can see your favourite dj’s live therefore,  it’s an incredible experience.

In summary, if you like electronic music you must go to Tomorrowland  due to the fact that IT is the electronic music cradle. It’s the place where all the most important dj’s go every summer to play their best songs. If I could go this summer, I would go there WITH NO HESITATION.

TRAVELLING WITH COVID

 TRAVELLING IN TIMES OF COVID ( CLAUDIA COLLADO FROM 2 CIE)

One of the most desired activities on this summer holiday has been TO  travel ( CUANDO HACE DE COMPLEMENTO, EN INFINITIVO), although due to the pandemic, we won’t be able to do it in the very near future. 

On the one hand, despite not being able to travel this year,  surely we can do it when we have the vaccine, furthermore,  we should get a PCR too. If we all had the vaccine already, we could travel to the PRETTIEST destination for us. On the other hand, this situation has caused many young people such as high school students not TO be able to make their graduation EVENING and the traditional trip to Salou party, nevertheless, they have looked for other alternatives to enjoy this long-awaited summer, including, farmhouses with friend, or small apartments near the beach, however,  those who can afford some more luxury trips decided to go to Mallorca or Menorca.

So,  we come to the conclusion that in spite of the complicated situations throughout our life, to which we turn most of the time to disagree or disconnect, is travelling, either to a tourist destination to discover new countries, cities… or to a remote place to the mountain or to a coastal place, because we must never give up.

ERASMUS+ PRACTICE ABROAD

 HERE IN CLASS, I HAVE A STUDENT, DIANA CAROLINA REYNA, IN ADM 1ST YEAR, WHO IS VERY HAPPY TO TELL US THAT SHE PARTICIPATED LAST YEAR IN THE ERASMUS+, IN ORDER TO DO SOME ADMINISTRATION PRACTICE ABROAD. 

SHE WAS IN ITALY, IN A VILLAGE CALLED FORLI, WHERE THERE ARE A LOT OF STUDENTS.

 SHE WAS WORKING IN A TILE ENTERPRISE FOR A MONTH AND THEY WERE LIVING IN A STUDENT HALL BUT THEY COULD HAVE LUNCH IN THE COMPANY. SHE SAYS THAT SHE GOT FAT BECAUSE THEY WERE HAVING PASTA ALL THE TIME. 

ANYWAY, SHE RECOMMENDS THE EXPERIENCE TO ALL OF YOU. SHE INTENDS TO DO IT AGAIN AT THE END OF THE HIGHER CYCLE.

THEY BELONG TO THE HIGHER  VOCATIONAL COURSE(1ST YEAR)  IN MECHANICS

 ( TWO YEAR TRAINING TO BECOME TECHNICIANS)

IT IS NOT VERY COMMON TO HAVE A GIRL INTERESTED IN MECHANICS. CONGRATULATIONS. I WOULD LOVE TO BE ABLE TO LEARN AND DEAL WITH CAR ISSUES.

   

HERE THEY ARE IN THE ELECTRICITY CLASSROOM, WITH THEIR TEACHER, RICARDO MOLINA  ( ALSO THE CHIEF OF THE DEPARTMENT),  WORKING ON THE ELECTRICITY SYSTEM OF THE CAR, MEASUREMENTS  AND  CHECKING OF DIFFERENT PIECES.

** AND THESE ARE THE STUDENTS OF THE FIRST YEAR, WHO WERE STUDYING BASIC TRAINING LAST YEAR AND THEY LIKED IT VERY MUCH. THEY ARE WORKING ON THE ENGINE OF THE CAR.

Nowadays, there is a pandemic which affect people all over the world. It’s a year since the pandemic has started, nevertheless, how has it affected to our lives?

 

On the one hand, the pandemic has a lot of disadvantages. For example, there are many limitations. In fact, we can’t see our families because we have to protect them from the infection. In addition, we can’t go out at night because there is a curfew, so nightclubs are closed. 

On the other hand, we have learnt many things. Last year, we have been confined for a long time, and we discovered that spending time with family is wonderful. We attached importance of simple things as seeing our faces without masks, too. 

Recently, all the countries have started to immunize population, so the pandemic is going to finish soon. Until then, we have to carry on and obey the mesures.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO POSTCARDS??

For ages the one way of communicating with someone who was miles and miles

away from us was the letter.

NevertheleSSduring this last century technology has been developed

incredibly fast and has allowed us to be

in contact with the other side of the world in a matter of seconds.

Consequently, nowadays letters and postcards are obsolete.

The main reason people have stopped using them is because of the fact that just with

our smartphones, touch is much more comfortable: we are able to send images,

videos or texts wherever and whenever without needing paper and pen.

Furthermoryou can be sure that your message won’t get lost

and even some apps let you know if the addressee has received and read it.

HoweveR, despite being only a few, there’s still people who prefer writing their messages

in their own hand, maybe due to it’s more touching.

In conclusion, the advantages of texting are many more than letters.

Therefore, they are supposed to disappear in the future.

Currently, the art of communicating is very essential.

First of all, I just read an article where the art of communicating is described.

They said the body language is the 55% of the impression, however, the voice is also important with the 38% of impact.

On the one hand, we have the body language, good impression, eye contact to see if you are A sensitive person or not, when you ARE feeling down you have to see how you are sitting, improve youR posture is sensible, your ear also play a vital role so there are a lot of things to know. On the other hand, theRE are people who think it is noT important TO FOLLOW this kind of things THEY  are talking about, if they have a flow they are not going to change because they think they are unique (ADJETIVOS NO TIENEN PLURAL) and genuine.

In conclusion and from my point of view, if you want to know about it, you can go to courses to learn---- it.

MEDIA HAVE CHANGED A LOT !!!

 MEDIA HAVE CHANGED A LOT IN THE LAST YEARS (BY F.GARCIA)

As far as we can all see, the media have changed in recent years, we can’t only watch programmes, films and shows on TV but we can also do it on the Internet using laptops, mobile phones and smart TV sets.

As a result of the technological advances, we can keep informed at any time of the day and wherever we are. Despite this speed and simplicity for the information, we have to be careful because a lot of on-line news ARE not true. However, we mustn’t believe that all the news published on the Internet are fakes either. Therefore, we have to choose carefully confident websites and check whatever we read which seems a bit strange to us. Besides, shows on TV have changed as well. There are a lot of different and new programmes that there weren’t in the past, such as reality-TV shows, talent shows, cooking shows, gossip shows and dating shows. Moreover, a lot of pay TV platforms have also come up, in which you have to pay to view shows, films and documentaries.

In short, we have so many different media options to choose that they make it very difficult for us to decide what we would like to watch.

GUIDELINES FOR FUTURE STUDIES AFTER LEAVING OUR SCHOOL !!

 

WE HAD SOME FREE WORKSHOPS GIVEN BY USJ JUST BEFORE EASTER HOLIDAYS, SO THAT ALL THE 2 BTO STUDENTS HAD SOME INFORMATION ABOUT WHAT THEY WERE INTERESTED IN STUDYING AFTER LEAVING SCHOOL NEXT JUNE. 

IN 2 CIT, THEY WERE INFORMED ABOUT ARQUITECTURE.

IN 2 CIE, THEY WERE INTERESTED IN NURSING AND MEDICINE.

IN 2 BCHS, THEY WER DOING A KAHOOT TO FIND OUT INFORMATION ABOUT ADM AND LAW. THE WINNERS WERE THE GROUP 'PANAS'. THEREFORE, THEY HAD AN AWARD: SOME T-SHIRTS. HERE IS THE PHOTO.

EASTER HOLIDAYS WERE SHORT !!!

EASTER HOLIDAYS WERE VERY SHORT THIS YEAR !!!

HOWEVER...I REALLY ENJOYED IN MY TERUEL WITH MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

ALSO, I ORGANIZED AN EXCURSION TO THE DAM OF VADIELLO IN LOPORZANO, HUESCA AND TO THE DAM OF LAFORADADA IN OLIETE, TERUEL. I LOVE THE GREEN WATERS OF THE DAMS. 

THE MEDIA ARE CHANGING

The arrival of the internet has definitely changed the ways in which we are informed. Consequently, because of the digital revolution, the media must be adapted to that new situation and have suffered a strong transformation.

Firstly, the internet has brought--- immediacy. Population demands the news at the same moment they are happening, so traditional media as newspaper or information programmes broadcast at a fixed time are on the way to disappearing because they cannot meet this demand of society. In the other way, digital tools have facilitated the work of the journalist, who has easier access to information and its sources. This has led to a lack of proximity to sources and, in my opinion, a loss of quality of information. Although the journalists have the tools to improve their work, they aren’t using them correctly.

From my point of view, the digital revolution has brought both positive and negative changes to the

media. If people could have better access to information, that doesn’t mean that they can better

understand or interpret that information.
